FRIENDS IN SUNDAY SERVICES

The Audio Team’s main goal is to provide sound support for Sunday services and assist our minister, worship associates, speakers, and guests spread the UU word. When we do our job right, you never even notice we are there!

PERFORMING FRIENDS

The Audio Team does fun musical things on the side too. But we are not the only musically inclined group at First Unitarian Church of Orlando. Here are a few of our musical friends and performance opportunities you may be interested in at church. (Unless otherwise noted, please contact our Music Director, Jaime Sterret about them at 407-898-3621 ext.104)

• Tuesday Night Band
• Wunderbox Band. (Contemporary music group. Open by audition only.)
• Mega Choir (Special event choir open to all. Performance dates announced during the church year. No long term commitment!)
• Chancel Choir (Traditional church choir meets weekly on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings.)
• Harmony Sisters (Women’s Eclectic Voices)
• Black Cat Cafe (Open Mic Coffeehouse. 2nd Fridays from 8PM to 12 PM. Contact Chip Dockery on the Black Cat Committee for more info)
• Infinite Drum Tribe (Ever-morphing group for drum support, tapping many percussion resources, known and unknown, now and in the future.)
• Sunday Services (Congregational talent is encouraged to perform. Music, dance and theater opportunities are supported here.)
• Special Events (Festivals, concerts, fundraisers, and other events are often in need of musical talent.
• Soulful Sundowns (Periodic off-schedule twilight services may also provided opportunities to perform)
